Cllr Claire Holland, SC1 Co-Chair, Leader of London Borough of Lambeth and Chair of London Councils. Councilor Holland chairs the Lambeth Strategic Partnership (LSP) which will implement Lambeth’s ambitious Lambeth 2030: Our Future, Our Lambeth.

Laurie Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, which includes its five routes to impact:  Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Evelina London Children’s Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Impact on Urban Health.

Cllr Evelyn Akoto, Cabinet Member for Health & Wellbeing, Southwark Council. Their responsibilities also include public health, adult social care, health, and wellbeing partnerships.

Cllr John Batteson, Cabinet Member for Climate Emergency, Jobs and Business, Southwark Council. Their responsibilities also include adaptation to climate change, increasing employment, industrial strategy and increasing employment.

Head of Strategy and Partnerships Development (Health and Life Sciences)

Christie is leading SC1 London strategy development.

Christie was formerly Head of Communications for Kings Health Partners, having led the development and launch of the KHP strategy to 2030, working closely with the Director of Strategy and KHP partner colleagues.

She has a background in health and life sciences, with two science degrees and 10 years of health and research communications experience at the British Heart Foundation and other charities.

Head of Partnership

Helen heads up partnerships at SC1 London.

Helen has a background in partnership development across the public, private and voluntary sectors, as well as property and place management.

As the former CEO of the Waterloo Business Improvement District (BID) and Assistant Director (interim) for Economy and Inward Investment at Lambeth Council, Helen brings over 20 years of experience of partnership working in Lambeth and Southwark. 

Head of Communication and Engagement

Louis leads communications and external affairs for SC1 London.

Louis joined SC1 London from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation, where he was formerly Communications Lead — Endowment, providing specialist communications advice and consultancy across areas including the Foundation's property portfolio, investments, stakeholder management and corporate reputation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Louis worked in a range of communications roles in the charity and third sector, including The Nuffield Trust.
